ADAM × STÖCKLI / FROM THE FACTORY TO THE MOUNTAIN

The only skis
I ski.

Stöckli is part of my skiing story. So getting to see where the skis are made—and meet the people who develop them—was a chance to share the story behind the equipment I use.

BEHIND THE SCENES / SWITZERLAND

Before the first turn.

I visited the Stöckli manufacturing centre in Switzerland to follow the process behind a pair of skis. Layers, pressing, finishing: seeing it firsthand gave me a different appreciation for the kit beneath my feet.

This is the sort of story I love sharing: real access, a personal connection and the people whose work you rarely see from the chairlift.

THE VISIT / SELECTED FILMS

Inside Stöckli.

Come into the factory, follow the build and hear about the development process directly from Mathieu Fauve.

01 / INSIDE THE FACTORY

Watching a ski take shape.

Filmed inside the Stöckli manufacturing centre: the layers coming together on the workbench before pressing. A close look at the materials, precision and hands-on work behind a ski.

02 / THE INTERVIEW

The thinking behind the ski.

I sat down with Mathieu Fauve, Head of R&D at the time of our conversation, to discuss the two-year development cycle, feedback and how each generation of skis is refined.

03 / THE FINISHING

Out of the press. Into the details.

Pressing is only part of the process. This film follows the trimming, grinding and finishing that happen before the ski is ready for the mountain.

A PERSONAL CONNECTION / A STORY TO SHARE

More than a product shot.

The factory visit connects my own skiing with the craft, development and people behind it. Short films show the details; an interview gives the story room to breathe.

I only ski Stöckli, and I’m not seeking ski partnerships with competing ski manufacturers. For accommodation, restaurants, clothing, accessories and other relevant brands, you can explore ways to work with me below.
